Spring Arriving [Through My Lens Nr. 428]

As the grip of winter begins to loosen its hold, Mostar awakens to the subtle signs of spring’s arrival. The weather remains capricious, oscillating between lingering chills and hints of warmth, but the cityscape is gradually transforming. Along the cobbled streets and in the quiet corners, delicate flowers slowly unfurl their petals, and vibrant hues light up the landscapes. In this transitioning season, Beni and my nephew Mak find boundless joy in exploring the outdoors. They delight in discovering the first signs of life, marveling at the blossoming buds and newfound greenery.

Meanwhile, in kitchens across town, a sense of anticipation fills the air as fresh produce begins to make its way into homes and restaurants. Crisp vegetables and fragrant herbs find their place on countertops, inspiring culinary creations that celebrate the season’s bounty. Like my tuna and avocado toast. It’s so good!

Thank you all for joining me in another week of “Through My Lens”. I am looking forward to your submissions this week. I hope you will have a great start into the new week!

In Mostar, as spring unfolds its gentle embrace, there is a palpable sense of renewal in the air. With each passing day, the city sheds its wintry cloak and embraces the promise of growth and new beginnings, infusing every corner with the warmth and vitality of the season.
