Inisde the Old Town of Sibenik

Now it feels like summer is over. Kids are back to school, and the dreams of summer are beginning to fade. It was a hot summer and in some ways I’m glad it’s over. I am also a bit melancholic for the carelessness of summer, though I am looking forward to fall which is my favorite season. During my recent visit to Sibenik, with my family, I also visited the old town of Sibenik. I was transported back in time to a place where history and charm converged in a truly captivating way. But also, back to my previous travels there.

Exploring the winding alleyways, I stumbled upon charming cafes and boutique shops that lined the historic streets. The scent of fresh seafood wafted from quaint restaurants, tempting me to indulge in local delicacies.

It was a journey through time, both historic and my past, that left an indelible mark, reminding me of the magic that can be found in the most unexpected of places, and especially when you return to them.
