Autumn Day by the Kriva Cuprija Bridge

There’s something magical about autumn light in Mostar, that gentle warmth that softens the stones and deepens every color. Today, I wandered through the old town as the sun lingered above the Neretva, bathing the cobblestones in warm light. Kriva Cuprija, translated the “Crooked Bridge”, looked especially beautiful beneath its canopy of amber leaves. Smaller and quieter than the famous Old Bridge, it feels almost secretive, tucked away where the Radobolja stream hums softly. As evening fell, I returned. The bridge stood in near silence, lit only by the faint blue of dusk and the reflections from nearby lanterns. I set up my camera and waited, just long enough for the sky to shift from gold to violet. In that moment, Kriva Cuprija seemed timeless, holding still between day and night. Sometimes the smallest corners of Mostar reveal its deepest soul, and tonight, I was lucky enough to catch it.
